Winchester Smiles of Virginia Family Dental Center

Today I called to ask if they could fit me in for an emergency. I had never been to this dental practice before and frankly was surprised when they squeezed me in and said they would do some X-rays and take a look. Farrah was the first person I encountered and she was simply amazing. She was calming, caring and clearly competent. She took the X-rays and called in the dentist, Dr. Greg. He too was exceptional. Not only was he extremely professional, he took good time to explain the procedure and my options, even though I was being "squeezed in." I could tell he had spent time reviewing my history as he asked very pertinent questions He removed a very messed up tooth in seconds with no pain. Alexandra had reviewed the financial aspects with me prior to treatment and was there when it was done. She was kind, efficient and exhibited a great sense of humor. This is a five star group across the board. Thanks to Smiles of Virginia, I hope to get some pain free sleep tonight!

New patient. Each staff member was professional and knowledgeable in their role. I appreciated that each treatment room had a closed door for privacy. Rachel and Dr Carlie explained everything and made sure I had zero concerns before I left. I’m happy I chose this practice.

I have never had a great experience at a dentist’s office. It’s just not possible. However, I was referred by a friend to Smiles of Virginia after having one of the worst experiences at my previous dentist. Dr. Carley and her staff (special shout to Alexandra, Malika, Molly and the super friendly receptionists, whose names I didn’t get so I apologize)! The whole staff feels more like my friends than just another patient. I’m always walked through every second of what is happening, what to do if anything hurts, constant affirmation and comfort. No one likes having anyone poke around in their mouths but I swear that this is the best dentist’s office I’ve ever been to in my 41 years. Since my first appointment, I take every chance to refer everyone I know to Smiles of Virginia (and now my mom, sisters, kids AND my Primary Care Physician go there). Super friendly, super kind compassionate, empathetic… just everything anyone would want in a doctor’s office. I’m so thankful that I was referred. The end. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I hadn’t been to the dentist in 3 years, so I was pretty nervous, but this office completely exceeded my expectations. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming from the front desk to the staff. Rosa (hygienist), Kaitlyn (X-ray tech), and Dr. Greg were all amazing, kind, professional, and very thorough. They made me feel comfortable the entire time and explained everything clearly. The office is very clean and organized. I walked in unhappy about my smile and I really appreciated how they walked me through my options for improving it. They even broke down what my insurance would cover vs. out-of-pocket costs for things like crowns, which made everything feel transparent and stress-free. Overall, a great experience. I highly recommend!
