Restoration Smiles - Dentist Tomball

I recently relocated to the area and needed to find a new dentist. I’d previously had some difficulty finding a good dentist within my insurance network, so I was very pleased with my experience here. The wait was short, and the exam was thorough without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a very positive first visit, and I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Dr Moon was exceptional and so was the staff! They all were extremely sensitive to my child’s need and helped her to feel so comfortable and at ease with her extraction! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. 10/10 service, definitely coming back!

Shan, my hygienist, was amazing — patient, thorough, and naturally comforting. She explained every step in a way that made me feel informed instead of judged. Dr. Moon was fantastic as well. He was straightforward, compassionate, and took the time to build a treatment plan that felt achievable. I left feeling supported, understood, and genuinely hopeful about my dental health. The time, care and patience of staff here was amazing. They made us feel truly cared about, because we have had very negative experiences with other dental offices that didn't seem to care. They put us at ease and made sure my son was comfortable before doing any dental work on him. Highly recommend!

I had a really positive experience and wanted to share my appreciation for the whole team. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and efficient. The front desk made everything easy, and the assistants were kind, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the visit. Dr. J Mai stood out for her honesty and patient-first approach. She took the time to explain my situation clearly and, instead of pushing for veneers, guided me toward the treatment that was actually right for my dental health. That level of integrity and care is something I truly respect and don’t take for granted. Overall, the entire team created a trustworthy and supportive environment. Wow, a 4.8-star rating, it’s what initially caught my attention and led me to schedule my baby’s appointment here. I was genuinely looking forward to great service and hoped to find a dentist my child could grow with long-term, as well as a provider for our entire family. However, the day before my appointment, I received a text saying there was a scheduling conflict and that I needed to come in earlier. That’s simply not reasonable. People choose appointment times because they fit their schedules, especially those who work. Many jobs require advance notice, and a last-minute change the day before is not acceptable. I’ve experienced something similar in the past with a dentist office, where appointments were shifted earlier because staff wanted to leave early instead of waiting for the last patient at 4 pm. When I brought up my concern, Mina responded by addressing me as “sir” and explained that several patients were booked for 4:00 PM. That raises another issue, why are multiple people scheduled at the same time, only to inconvenience clients afterward to fix the scheduling? It feels disrespectful of people’s time to expect them to adjust so easily, as if their schedules don’t matter. Not everyone has the flexibility to change plans last minute. I originally planned to just cancel and move on without leaving a review, but being addressed incorrectly as “sir” just really bothered me. I canceled my appointment immediately and will not be returning or recommending this office.

Best dental experience I’ve ever had. Everything went so smoothly from the moment you walk in. The waiting area is a vibe. The tech taking the x-rays was really sweet. Loved the assistant, Shaun. Very friendly and made you feel at home through the whole process. Doc Moon was very prompt and professional and doesn’t try to talk you into anything you don’t need at the time. The teeth cleaning was efficient and thorough. Honestly, one of the better ones I’ve ever had. Super sweet girl. (forgot her name) I trust these guys and will be bringing my 3 year old in a few weeks.
