Dentistry Of Kingwood

The insurance/billing person lies, hide things and honestly never in my life have I ever been treated so poorly at a dentist office. They nickel and dime you, once you’re in the chair you now need 10 things they never discussed. No other dentist has ever said anything to me like they have. They refused service because I declined what they said I needed… then because I took PTO to be there I said fine. At the end, I find out my dental insurance is out of network and they charged me $670… excuse me? For a cleaning/x-rays that are free twice a year with insurance. Stay away. Just stay away. They’re awful. I also paid and they said that $100 was for my deductible and guess what? It wasn’t applied that way and now I still owe $100 next time I go. Just save yourself the headache and go be treated correctly somewhere else.

I had a really great experience yesterday. I’m extremely picky when it comes to dental cleanings and dental hygienists, so I don’t give compliments lightly. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth did an excellent job. She was thorough, took her time, and I could genuinely feel how clean my teeth were afterward. One thing that really stood out to me is that I have exposed roots, which can make cleanings very uncomfortable. I always let hygienists know beforehand, but in the past I’ve still ended up in pain because those sensitive areas weren’t handled carefully. This was the first time I’ve had a dental cleaning without being hurt. She was attentive, gentle, and clearly mindful of my concerns throughout the entire appointment. The dentist who came in after my cleaning was amazing as well—professional, personable, and made me feel comfortable and cared for. Overall, this was one of the best dental experiences I’ve had, and I’m definitely looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

I really appreciate the level of service l receive at Kingwood Dental. Lori does such a good job cleaning my teeth and amazingly l do not have any discomfort after the cleaning. Dr Coligado is very professional and l really appreciate the service he provides.

I had a very bad experience with dentistry of Kingwood. I had an appointment on a Thursday at 330 pm. I got to my appointment at 315, a couple of minutes prior to my appointment to fill paperwork. When I first arrived I was told to fill out paperwork on my phone. I did that and that took 5-10 min and right after one of the ladies took me back for “xrays” she took 1 image of a tooth I was complaining about (mind you it was 2 that I was having issues with). After she took her one “xray” she preceded to tell me she was going to call the dentist. When he came in he asked me what I was feeling, I explained and he asked to look at my mouth. He touched the tooth that was hurting with his finger and instantly said “you need a root canal” not looking at the “Xray” or actually even looking at my mouth, just one touch with his finger and said that was needed. After that I explained that I had more than one tooth that was hurting but he explained could only take care of one of my teeth at the moment. Just one. He got me up and said he could not do the root canal that day due to me having an infection but he could do it the following morning early in the morning which made no sense to me. He explained the root canal would be almost $4000. Did not give me any other options, no other explanation on my tooth whatsoever, left still in pain, no answers at all, a bad xray (1) and $150 dollars down for a 10 MINUTE VISIT. I left the office at 342 after being brought back at 330. 10 minutes, no treatment, no solution, I did not feel heard at all and will not be returning nor recommending this place. I left extremely unsatisfied and upset that a 10 min visit would be $150 dollars and did not get help or anything out of it.

Our whole family loves the Dentistry of Kingwood. Our kids are adults now and will drive across town because of the staff/service. The front office, hygienists and dentists are professional, friendly and do a great job. The office is clean, decorated beautifully and runs efficiently. I'm seen at the time of my appointment and every step/expense is explained ahead of time. We won't go anywhere else.

I’ve been going to Dr. Coligado for over 20 years, and I can honestly say I’ve always had a great experience. Everyone in the office is so friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit comfortable. Dr. Coligado truly cares about his patients, and I really appreciate the consistent care I’ve received over the years. Pureza is the best hygienist! I’m grateful to have such a wonderful dentist and team!
