Eight years as a patient at Caloosa Dental, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. As a 100% disabled, retired U.S. Army veteran on VA Community Care, I know firsthand how hard that system can be to navigate — and Dr. Scheel and his team have gone above and beyond at every turn, handling the approvals and paperwork and making sure I actually got the care I needed. Dr. Scheel's skill as a prosthodontist is top-notch, but what truly sets this practice apart is how personal and genuine the entire team is. "Professional. Personal. Patient-Focused Care" isn't just a line on their card — it is exactly what they deliver. To any veteran looking for a practice that will truly fight for you: this is the one.

Dr Gear is one of the best and kindest Dr's i have seen. Having not so great teeth (and a lot of experience)he is the first dentist not to make me feel aweful about myself. Instead he came up with a plan and has mastered it so far. Also all the staff are kind and caring. His assistants are also wonderful.
Dr. Scheel is truly exceptional in every way. He possesses impeccable bedside manners and is incredibly considerate of his patients. I cannot recommend him highly enough. The entire team at Caloosa is equally fantastic—both the front office staff and the dental assistants consistently go above and beyond.
My mom has been a client for years …. She has dementia and gets very anxious during various appointments….. at Caloosa Dental the hygienist Marlene is EXCELLENT her approach to providing care keeps mom calm and cooperative through the appointments. Moreover mom retains her dignity - our family is grateful to Marlene and the Caloosa Dental team
