Thank you Dr. Gula And Beautiful Ladies and Assistant who held my nervous hand. I had previously went to another dentist for a molar tooth extraction. But afterwards (healing was still experiencing 2weeks of pain) I went back to the same dentist and the xrays didn't show anything no infections no decaying teeth Etc. I was sent home with more antibiotics in which was not helping. 2 days later. I found Dr. Gula I had read reviews etc. And my only thoughts were is Dr. Gula that fascinating Dentist that could locate a needle in a haystack!. And yes Dr. Gula found out what was causing the pain immediately and yes it was my K9 tooth. She examined every tooth she showed me an illustration on a piece of paper to help me understand how a thin line Crack in the K9 tooth was exposing the nerves literally. Dr. Gula acted right away to resolve and solve my tormenting pain. Dr. Gula I will and always be grateful and thankful for you and your beautiful team and Keep wiggling my toes back to you. Dr Gula and staff are all cordial, friendly and knowledgeable. No waiting, easy X-Rays and Dr Gula is compassionate and very good in explaining. I'm a repeat patient and highly recommend City Edge Dental.

Do yourself a favor and read the online reviews before you ever step foot in this office—I wish I had. Everything people are saying about their sketchy tactics is 100% true. I went here because it was convenient, and it was a massive mistake. Here is exactly what they did to me: Milking Appointments for Cash: They artificially split up a basic, standard cleaning just to get more visits out of me. They forced me to come in for two separate appointments just to do a cleaning without polishing, and then expected me to book a THIRD appointment just to get the polish done! Any legitimate dentist does a cleaning and polishing in a single sitting. To make it worse, they demanded I pay upfront in cash before services were even rendered. Major red flag. Shady Billing & Deceptive Practices: Their billing is completely non-transparent and, frankly, dishonest. They bundled hidden fees into my bill without my informed consent, including a ridiculous $90 charge for "mouth rinse" (mouthwash!). Bogus Bills After Canceling: Once I realized what they were doing, I called and canceled all my future appointments. Instead of letting me go, they sent me another bogus bill for services I never received. This completely violates the Illinois Dental Practice Act and the Consumer Fraud Act regarding transparent billing and informed consent. After talking to others and reading reviews online, I realized this is their exact business model. They change their diagnoses, pad the bills, and do not care about their patients at all. They are crooks. Save your money and go to a dentist with actual ethics.

They truly do an outstanding job, everyone from the receptionist to the doctor made me feel at ease, really seen, and took care of all my concerns. I can’t say enough about how great they are, if you’re nervous about going to the dentist, you should definitely check them out, because they really make you feel seen and welcomed. I appreciate them and all they do.
