Had a great experience at Dentistry of Uptown! Everyone there is super friendly and makes you feel comfortable right away. The office is very modern and the TV's on the celing that you can watch while you get work done is a great touch. Dr. Minka Hotic and her entire staff are excellent. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a dentist in Charlotte!

Ms Mia greeted me as I entered this office. Miss. Nyishma was also friendly. I was promptly received for my appointment. Dr. Minka Hotic was one of the most professional dentists/doctors that I have ever encountered. She seemed genuinely concerned about my overall self and most important, actually listened. My hygienist Carolina was so thorough, providing the best cleaning. My teeth felt all new. Although the were out-of-network, I would be happy to receive care at this practice. Also, snacks were provided for after oral care. This seemed to be a family care environment, providing service from the littlest to the eldest patient. Overall 5 of 5 stars.

Overall a phenomenal first visit at this clinic; Dr. Hotic and her team provided first class oral care. From her vast knowledge and care that I received, I felt well taken care of especially from the caring assistant, gentle and meticulous hygienist, and the patient front desk staff. Never have I been to a dental clinic that spent 1 hour on top of another hour for the cleaning (2 in total) to delve deep into exploring my general health and medical history on top of my oral health. Dr. Hotic talked to me in great detail how my medical conditions can have implications on my oral health. Our conversation made me feel like I was establishing a long-term relationship with everyone at this office, and this is how dental care should be done unlike other clinics that can often feel like a teeth cleaning factory. Professional and trustworthy-- the best dental clinic in Uptown Charlotte and a true gem! Highly recommend others to come here. I found my dental home and she will be my last dentist for life.

I genuinely wish I could give more than 5 stars! Never have I ever felt more comfortable nor excited to go to the dentist than when I had my second appointment with Dr. Hotic. Before going to Dentistry of Uptown Charlotte, I’ve been to a few different dentistries and didn’t have the greatest experiences. Prior to my initial visit, to make insurance processing easier, I filled out a simple questionnaire. The form also asked necessary questions about my current oral hygiene, my comfortability, and any immediate concerns in which Dr. Hotic followed up with during my first appointment which affirmed that she cares. The hygienist, Carolina, did an amazing job with my cleaning; she’s the best hygienist ever! For my second visit, I had wisdom teeth extractions done and even though I wasn’t sedated, I felt completely relaxed during the whole procedure. After the extractions were done, I followed the post operation instructions Dr. Hotic provided me and did not feel any pain whatsoever from the start of the operation to after my sockets healed and even until now (4 months later). Coleman, the dental assistant, was also very kind, personable, and amazing with prepping me for my extraction and throughout the entire procedure. Checking in and out at the front desk was super simple and seamless with scheduling my next appointment. Aaliyah and James, at the front desk, were also very personable, friendly, and always has a contagious smile on their faces. I’m looking forward to my next cleaning (I might reschedule it to be sooner for funsies)!

Dr. Hotic was the first dentist to ever mention my bite needed to be improved. She has me wearing Invisalign. I now have better bite contact when I chew. I’m hoping not to see anymore cracked teeth in my future. She is a caring and thorough professional who takes significant time to assess my needs. Her staff is friendly and equally thorough. Carolina is my hygienist whom I am very happy with. Truly a great practice!

Dr. Hotic and her team are absolutely wonderful. From the moment you walk into the office until the moment you leave, you know you’re being treated fairly and with genuine, tender care. Dr. Hotic goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable during every procedure and does everything possible to ensure you stay that way. If you’re having a large amount of dental work done, she personally calls the night before to help you prepare and even checks on you the evening after your procedure to see how you’re doing. That level of compassion and dedication is rare. They are truly amazing, and I’m so grateful to have found such a caring dental team. Highly recommend!
