Castro Valley Advantage Dental

Both of my children had a great time at Castro Valley Advantage Dental. Both of my children had a lot of questions and a lot of anxiety. They enjoyed their time and felt at ease. Bringing the whole family on! Well… except for our youngest. They will join us when they turn six as they do not take kids 0-5.

I came twice this week; once for an emergency and then a follow up for extensive work. I cannot say enough good things about this team. The front desk staff are lovely and welcoming; Vanessa walked through all the paperwork and finances with me to find something that worked. The real stars for me were Carlos, and Dr. Matt. I was nervous and in so much pain from an infection and Carlos walked me through every step of the way with kindness, gentleness and compassion. He got me through these procedures. Dr. Matt explained every step and option for my treatment as well as choices for best outcomes and health. I really appreciated his knowledge and his checking that I understood and that everything made sense to me. He checked that I was comfortable and pain free. I don’t want to forget Vicky, who squeezed me in for my cleaning on day one. She knew I was going to have a procedure in a couple of days and was in significant pain. She took time with the cleaning and was super gentle. You can trust your dental care with these folks.

As a new patient, I was impressed by the services and equipment at this office. Everyone was very caring. Dr. Yuen was skillful and efficient. I had installed two crowns at the same day, which was totally out of my expectation. Even though the costs were high, the treatment and services I received are surely worth it.

I absolutely love coming here. I have had horrible experience in my past with other Dentist being really rough. So when I go to the dentist, I still have PTSD The dentist and their assistance always put me at ease. They’re very soft and gentle. I love the front desk. Maria is amazing. She is always willing to help me. I would definitely recommend this place to other people they do quality work.

I had such a good experience at Castro Valley Advantage Dental. The front office team, Maria and Vanessa, were extremely helpful and kind. They made everything feel easy and welcoming from the moment I walked in. I originally came in that morning for an Invisalign consultation and they recommended removing my wisdom teeth beforehand. I was honestly really scared and unsure at first, but later that day I decided to go through with it and they were able to fit me in the same day. Kyla and Dr. Yuen made me feel so comfortable and at ease. The procedure went by so quickly and I felt no pain, which really surprised me. They were very reassuring the whole time. Carlos also helped me earlier that morning with fixing my mouth guard and he was super informative and patient. Everyone there is so kind hearted and caring. I really appreciate them so much and would definitely recommend this office.

My experience started off with the receptionist, Maria, speaking so kindly and professionally to me. I, unfortunately, cracked a crown when I chomped down on a crouton. Half of the crown disintegrated. I was pretty nervous because I hadn’t gone to a dentist for about four years and didn’t have an established dentist. My husband found Castro Valley Advantage Dental by a Google search. A quick call, allowed Maria to book my appointment for the very next day as well as verify that this office took Delta Dental, my insurance. So I cracked my crown on a Saturday, called this office on a Monday; I got assessed in person on a Tuesday; got booked for the work on Friday. So I’m now in the chair waiting for replacement crown to be milled. I did call another dentist and their prices were cheaper, by a thousand dollars, however Castro Valley Advantage Dental has the advanced equipment that allows my tooth to be repaired with a permanent replacement crown the same day as opposed to having a temporary crown in my mouth for a week like I had to do before elsewhere. The fact that all the work could be completed right away was imperative done I was going on vacation the following week. So far I’m extremely happy Dr Suh as my dentist. Everyone here has a kind a caring demeanor. I feel very comfortable and confident in this dentist office even when considering I hadn’t been to a dentist for so long which I thought would leave me feeling uncertain and scared. *pic is of the image created by the 3D technology they have to take of my cracked crown; the image is used to mill the replacement crown instead of using the goop to form the mold in my mouth.

I was unexpectedly surprised at how comfortable and easy my first visit here was. Vicky was extremely gentle while performing my cleaning and also offered useful information that addressed my dental needs. I would 100% recommend to anyone especially those who have dental sensitivities or particularly dread going to the dentist! You will be in good hands with Dr Matt and his staff.
