I am a new patient and was very happy with how friendly everyone was. Everything was communicated to me in detail and I would definitely recommend anyone to come here, looking for a new dentist.
We switched to Polished Dentistry after our previous dentist left our Delta Dental network, and unfortunately the experience did not meet expectations for our family. As new patients, we were very clear that we only wanted services covered by insurance. The office presented itself in a more boutique-style approach, with a focus that felt more like upselling additional services than simply providing routine preventive care. Our family did not even consistently see the same dentist, which made continuity of care difficult. During visits, we were repeatedly recommended additional treatments beyond standard cleanings and exams. While I understand preventive care can include recommendations, the level of suggested add-ons felt unnecessary given we have had routine dental care every six months since childhood. We were also told an extensive panel of X-rays would be covered by insurance. However, we later received notice that insurance is denying those charges, and we do not believe we should be responsible for costs we were told were covered. Additionally, one family member was told they may need orthodontic work, despite having no prior indication of this from our long-term dentist. Overall, this experience felt misaligned with our expectations for straightforward, insurance-based dental care. We will not be returning.
I have been a patient now for 3 years. Dare I say I always enjoy my visits at Polished Dentistry, everyone is so friendly, gentle, informative and efficient. I even convinced my husband to switch dentists and he is also a patient. :)
What a great office! Let's be fair, nobody likes going to the dentist but the team here make it as pleasant of an experience as you can have. I've had several hygienists over the years and without fail they've all been pleasant, and gentle. The doctors are sharp, and they don't push a lot of unnecessary treatment. Easy 5 stars!! P.s. I love that Google gives the option to post pictures, I'm going to go ahead and save you from looking inside my mouth but feedback for the Google team rethink that one?
My experience with Polished Denistry has been great. The entire office is friendly and Dr Leslie is a very thorough and approachable dentist.
I switched there following my long-time dentist's relocation. But the billing issue is always the headache... First of all, I was never informed that I once overpaid and still had balance in the account until the next visit. Secondly, regarding the recent dental extraction on 11/18, the doctor did very good job. However the bill came ridiculously wrong and it's not been fixed for over a month. I paid $1599 upfront based on the full contract rate. Later after the procedure the insurance confirmed the out of pocket as $870, which means I should've received the refund. However the bill constantly shows $1257 due, which is apparently based on the original rates ignoring the negotiation. My insurance tried to call them and was always directed to voicemail with no callback, seems no one at the billing office is proactively following up my questions, and the insurance will soon file the financial complaint on behalf of my request. Anyway their doctors are good, but just be extremely careful every time they send you bills.
