Lakeshore Dental Studio of Chicago

I've been going here for two years now, and it's always a breeze. Today I got my teeth whitened by Luís and he did a wonderful job! He was thorough and diligent while administering the treatment, but he also had excellent interpersonal skills. Very kind and attentive. You don't always expect to receive compassionate care at the dentist, but l've rarely found it lacking at Lakeshore Dental Studio. Nicole at the front was a ray of sunshine, as always! I've seen both Dr. Hagen and Dr. Kella, and my only complaint is that at my first appointment Dr. Kella was too pushy with the upselling. I declined Invisalign, saying I like my smile, so he switched gears and said I need Invisalign to keep my CURRENT smile. That without it, my teeth are going to shift. I told him I'd rather get traditional braces over Invisalign, and he dropped it (because he'd have to refer me to an orthodontist for that). I later checked with a dentist friend, who said my teeth shifting is highly unlikely. Dr. Kella also convinced me to purchase a night guard, by telling me I was grinding my teeth down and they could break soon. But at my night guard fitting, Dr. Hagen assured me my grinding is on the mild side. I understand wanting to sell products, but the scare tactics are callous and unseemly. Still, my other visits have been positive enough to keep me coming back. Overall great team!

I had a wonderful experience at Lakeshore Dental Studio. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming and professional. The Dentist himself was quick to put me at ease and explained everything clearly to me. He made a nervous patient, feel confident. I would highly recommend this office for a wonderful dental experience.

I've been bragging about finding my new dentist ever since my first appointment at Lakeshore Dental Studio! I have a lot of anxiety around dental work, and Dr. Kella and his team have been so understanding and supportive for every appointment. Lakeshore Dental Studio is super transparent about pricing, too! I can't recommend this dental office highly enough.

I’ve been to this location about five times for cleanings, and in the past they were thorough, careful, and took their time. I always felt like they genuinely cared about doing a good job. Unfortunately, my visit today was a completely different experience. I felt rushed from start to finish, and the cleaning felt incomplete and poorly done. Several steps seemed to be skipped or handled carelessly — including not even receiving a flossing during the cleaning, which was surprising and disappointing. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning. I hope they take feedback like this seriously and work to maintain the quality of care they used to provide.

Great experience at this dental office today. Everyone was very kind and professional.The dentist took his time to listen to all my concerns and explained everything to me. I felt very comfortable and cared for. Highly recommend this dental office To anyone looking for a dentist.

My experience was amazing. From the moment I walked through the door the staff greeted me by name. Maria, the dental assistant took me back and explained what she was going to do to prepare me for the exam. She was very thorough. Of coarse, Dr. Hagan was very thorough and was able to explain some future treatments that I would definitely benefit from. He is one of the best if not the best dentist I have seen. I would recommend anyone that shys away from dentist to visit this practice. You can thank me later.
